I’m Alon Pinkas — an Israeli diplomat and writer shaped by decades of public service. Born in Tel Aviv and educated at Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Georgetown University, I’ve served as Chief of Staff to two Foreign Ministers, foreign-policy advisor to former leaders including Ehud Barak and Shimon Peres, and from 2000–2004 was Consul General of Israel in New York City. Today, I continue to contribute to global dialogue through writing, analysis, and commentary, seeking always to bring clarity, context, and diplomacy to the world’s most challenging issues.
